Felicia Houston is currently the Community Relations Specialist for Ingalls Behavioral Health Services. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Mrs. Houston has more than 16 years of experience in the mental health field, earning a BA in Psychology with a minor in Spanish and a MA in Human Development Counseling from Bradley University in Peoria Illinois.

Her love for girls and women led her to encourage young women to speak out, grab the ears of our government and their communities and to hear the issues that challenge them daily. Mrs. Houston is available for speaking engagements and workshops for various women and girls organizations. Her most popular workshop is Stress Less: For Women Only!

They officer a full spectrum of services-offering expanded employment opportunities to individuals with criminal justice involvement utilizing training for employment, increased income, various resources to support their wrap around services like giving gas cards for employment, obtaining identification, substance abuse & mental health services. At Safer Foundation, South Holland, they use evidence-based assessments, interest inventory & career exploration assessments. Training courses are short term, up to 16 weeks.
