The second Training Excellence of the Year recognition goes to Mrs. Felicia Houston, a licensed clinical professional. She has been involved in human development counseling since 1998 to the present. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bradley University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Spanish as well as a Master of Arts from Bradley in Human Development Counseling.
Mrs. Houston is a certified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Consumer Wellness and Mental Health First Aid for Youth. Her motto is “Stress less and live more”. She began her counseling business because she saw the need to normalize the need for mental health assistance by providing a positive change in individuals personal, professional, family and community domains.
